A diss between friends, not a feud

Real diss tracks are aimed at rivals. This one is aimed at someone you love, standing right next to you on the mic. Both of you are in the video, both of you agreed to be there, and the target gets to look straight into the camera while their crimes are read out. That is what keeps it funny: it is a roast you make together, not a post about someone behind their back.

It is also a surprisingly good way to settle small household grievances. A diss about the dishes gets the dishes done more often than a note on the fridge, and nobody stays annoyed after hearing their crime rapped over a beat.

Build the diss in three moves

  1. Name the crime. One habit everybody recognizes: never paying you back, always late, eats other people's fries.
  2. Bring the evidence. A specific detail makes it land: “ate the leftovers that had my name on the lid”. Exaggerate a little, too: “borrowed my charger” becomes “has had my charger since March”.
  3. Leave room for the comeback. The second rapper can fire back, so mention what they would say in their own defense.

Fit all of that in the topic box (200 characters, any language) and the English verse is written around it. Graffiti Alley is preselected, with murals, a boombox on a milk crate and a small crowd cheering, but you can switch to any of the six stages.

The house rules

Roasts are only fun when everyone is laughing. These rules keep it that way:

  • No slurs and no hate, about anyone, ever.
  • No harassing real people. The target should be in on it, not on the receiving end of a pile-on.
  • No public figures. Don't diss celebrities, politicians or other rappers by name or by face.
  • Only upload photos of people who agreed to be in the video, and no minors without a guardian's consent.
  • Skip bodies, money, exes and family trouble. Keep the material to habits.
  • Let the target see it before it goes public. If they wince instead of laugh, pick a different crime.

If a render is stopped by a safety filter, the credits go back to your balance automatically.

Answer tracks and rematches

The best part of a diss is the response. Once the first track lands, hand the topic to the target: “Jamie fires back about the hoodie thing, with receipts.” A new verse is written from scratch, so the answer track sounds nothing like the first, and you can change the stage to raise the stakes.

Diss track generator: questions

Can I make a diss track about a celebrity or my ex?

No. Public figures aren't allowed, and neither is using the tool to harass a real person. Diss your friends, with their agreement, about their habits.

Why does it start in Graffiti Alley?

It's the stage that feels most like a street cypher. You can switch to the Orange Booth, Neon Studio or any other stage before rendering.

Can the person being roasted fire back?

Yes. Make a response track with their side in the topic. Each render writes a new verse.

What happens if the video is blocked?

Credits are reserved when you submit. If generation is confirmed failed, those credits return to your balance. If the provider response is still being checked, review My videos before submitting again; an uncertain response is not yet a confirmed failure.

How much does a diss track cost?

A 12-second video uses 5 credits at 480p or 10 at 720p. A 5-second effect uses 3 credits at 480p or 5 at 720p. Other lengths use the displayed per-second rate, rounded up to a whole credit. One-time packs start at $9.99 for 10 credits; larger packs are $99 for 350, $199 for 900 and $499 for 3,000 credits.
